Mobile Program at Shriner’s Hospital went well. Improvements and updates to be made to program by Judy.

  • S. Kramer suggested we donate any monies left after expenses from sponsors of Holiday Party/dinner/meeting to UOA for either indigent fund or to assist in sending children to ostomy camp. Suggestion approved. When bookkeeping is finalized, total will be sent to UOA with letter and entered on website.
  • Susan Burns, President of UOA of Greater St. Louis, awarded Lyn Kramer with a plaque as CWOCN of the Year, 2003. Kathy Barrale and Mary Beth Akers from UOA also attended.

    • Forms are in place and sign-up is open. Anyone interested, please let C. Heady or S. Kramer know.

3. Seminar (Sheila Kramer)

    • NPUAP has a new topic for a seminar. "Legal Aspects in Pressure Ulcers". S. Kramer asked if there is any interest in hosting another seminar – or – should the group have a local workshop or Conference. J. Schaffer, Marketing Committee, will work on some type of conference, seminar for 2004. Anyone interested to be a part of this committee should contact J. Schaffer (636-532-7796).

  • Jackie Bangert asked for discussion on medicating prior to dressing changes for pain control. Several nurses offered their protocols.
