Opening Remarks: Judy Schaffer, RN, CWCN, COCN Guests introduced & Healthpoint thanked for sponsoring this meeting.

Review of Minutes: June 2004 minutes approved.

Reports: President, Secretary and Treasurer absent.

Communications: Toolkit for pressure ulcers available from National office StlWOCN.org website - fees paid for 1 more year.

Future Educational Meetings:

  • Wound Healing Society Meeting - 12/04
  • NPUAP, Tampa, Fl - 2/05 (Abstracts being solicited)
  • BJC Meeting announced for August
  • Healthpoint educational meeting for August

Affiliate Meeting: October 2004 - Meeting only in Frances Creedon Room, St. John's Mercy Medical Center

Marketing Committee: Judy Schaffer -

  • Dates for programs with the Missouri League for Nursing MLN are set for 2005
  • Committee is working on content
  • Corporate sponsorships have been completed

UOA:

  • WOCN of the Year ballots distributed.
  • Torbot folders of information for new ostomy equipment distributed
