Marketing Committee: Judy Schaffer has been in contact with the Missouri League of Nursing (MLN) and we have agreed to co-sponsor educational meetings with them. This will be a 5 hour program on wound care presented 8 times in the spring of 2005. Dates are being decided now. The workshops will be provided in cities like St. Josephs, Kansas City, Springfield, St. Louis. Once the schedule is settled you will be notified. Speakers will be needed (3 per workshop). It is not intended for all 8 workshops to be presented by the same 3 nurses. Speakers will vary so if you are interested please contact Judy Schaffer (636-532-7796). The content will be the same for all workshops: Lecture/slides, etc. will be completed ahead of time by the marketing committee. Sheila Kramer has sent letters to the venders requesting support. Our sponsors are: Healthpoint, Sizewise, DeRoyal, The Roho Group, KCI, and Convatec. WOCN-St. Louis Affiliate will also have a booth. The MLN meetings have been well attended in the past.

UOA Report: The UOA Visitor training program was Oct. 14th at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in the evening. This was our first time trying the new format put out by UOA National. We follow a video and workbook and the program lasted 3 hours. We had six in attendance and the evening went very well.
