  • Small Grants for clinical investigations: ConvaTec (Ostomy Nursing) $25,000: Hollister (Continence Nursing) $7,500. Web site by 1/31/05.

  • 2005 Conference: Some sessions will be "expert." Preconference: 1) Review course for WOCN Certification: 2) "Pouching the Challenging Patient" and "Management of Perisotmal Hernias" lecture and hands-on: 3) Debridement workshop- assessment/interactive instruction.   • Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America Gateway Chapter - Torch of Friendship Gala - 11/13/04- Chase Park Plaza, Starlight Room-WOCN Nurses attending: Jackie Bangert-DePaul, Colleen Cole- St. Luke's, Joan Dalgaard, Zoe Shepard, Betsy Naeger- Medical West Healthcare Center, Diane Economon, Linda Stamm, Donna Maurer-BJC, Janet Knebel-Christian NE, Lyn Kramer-St. Elizabeth's, Sheila Kramer- St. John's, Judy Schaffer- St. Joseph's UOASL- Yearly donation of $500 was approved and will be made to the local our local UOA chapter.
  • WOCN membership dues are $110.00. There is no place on the form to indicate your preferred affiliate, PLEASE write in St. Louis Affiliate.
  • Preceptors are needed in the St. Louis area for nurses going to school for WOCN certification. If you are interested please contact Sheila Kramer.
