Secretary Report:
June minutes approved.
Treasurer Report:

Communications:
Nancy Ogle going to school at Emery. Retta Sutterfield is her primary preceptor.
Pam Bowman is now on staff at St. Luke’s Hyperbaric Clinic.
New members - Kathleen Maher and Pam Bowman.

SUNA Annual Conference at the Las Vegas Hilton, Oct. 14th to 17th.
Clinical Symposium on Advances in Skin & Wound Care, Caesars Palace, LV, Oct. 23-26. Marge Groom is presenting 2 posters at this conference!

Marketing Committee:
Judy Schaffer Reporting - MLN: Pressure Ulcer Management (Assessment, Prevention and Treatment); 8 programs throughout Missouri, Speakers: J. Schaffer, S. Kramer, A. Moyer, C. Heady, Diane Economon; Road Manager: Betsy Naeger, Committee member: J. Bangert. They all volunteered their time and it was definitely worth while. Judy presented the before, during and after work that was put into this series of successful and fun seminars. Jackie Bangert compiled the evaluation forms from the seminars. A total of 283 attended and we received a total of 202 completed evaluations (71%). Overall, the evaluations were very complimentary.
Audrey Moyer pointed out that the success is due to the hard work and energy of Judy Schaffer.
UOA Report:
Please remember to let your patients know about the UOA of St. Louis. Even though the national organization if folding, our local group is very much alive and more determined to help those undergoing ostomy surgery. Please call Betsy if you have any ostomy visitor requests, 314-725-1888.
Ostomy Visitor Program scheduled for Oct. 12, 2005 has been cancelled. Betsy will let everyone know when program is to be rescheduled.

WOCN Membership forms available $110 for national and $12 for local. Please call Sheila Kramer for information. 314-251-6449.
We have 9 local members and 55 national members.
WOCN Scholarships: St. Louis Affiliate; Dr. Sheri Smith Memorial Grant Info and Applications under Educational Resources and Program/Scholarships, then Education; WOCN Educational Scholarships for Accredited Nursing Education Program; Beverly Hampton Scholarship (MD Anderson WOC Program), www.wocn.org.
Scholarship Committee:
Applicants for scholarship were evaluated according to the guidelines set forth by the scholarship committee. Sheila Kramer presented the Irene Rafferty Memorial Scholarship to Sandy Kucera.
